but what about the big kids? And quiet frankly, Gap kids clothing always seemed more stylish and trendy than Gap!

Hedi Slimane will replace Stefano Pilati as YSL’s creative direction and I am just PSYCHED! As the once creative designer for Dior, the innovative Slimane revolutionized the androgynous wear of skinny silhouettes. He is considered as one the most talented designer of our time which comes as no surprise because he’s ability to assimilate (and push) rock & roll motifs into the fashion ambient was ahead of time. Not to mention he is one heck of a photographer as well (well ain’t he multi-talented?). Thus, I am totally exited to see the direction YSL is heading now that this brilliant designer is taking over. This is probably a creative business ploy for YSL to generate such a buzz but it is working (at least for me) because I (and most likely so will many others) will pay more attention to this design powerhouse (like it really needs any more).

The runways partake in a global frenzy as designers disport their foreign inspiration. This whole trend is aberrant in a sense that each design delineates the cultural characteristics, intergrading into fashion.

As you probably know by now, Nasty Gal is such a great site to shop at for any vintage lover due to the vast range of unique vintage collection. Most importantly, the clothing selection has a modern, chic, edgy flare (many other so called vintage clothing companies tend to design such clothing fit for grandmothers). The bottoms at Nasty Gal is fun to shop for because they are just so funky and quiet interesting. Basically, Nasty Gal is what the savvy cool gals wear.
